About This Site

Our lab explores mechanisms of protein synthesis to understand one fundamental problem in modern biology: how living cells can survive hostile conditions by entering dormancy. We believe that this knowledge will help us learn to control various forms of dormancy to eradicate persistent parasitic infections, improve agriculture, and enable space travel.
